Job summary

Horsepower Automotive Group in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Powder Coater to manage the full powder coating process from prep to finish. You will move parts into the booth, apply coatings per spec, and ensure flawless results on every part.

This role requires 2-5 years of powder coating experience, a HS diploma or GED, and reliable transportation to maintain production flow. The position offers a second shift 2:00 PM–10:30 PM with a competitive hourly wage and full benefits.

The Role

The Powder Coater is responsible for the complete main powder coating process - from moving parts into the booth to delivering a finish that meets our quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Move sandblasted parts into the paint booth
• Remove debris from parts using an air hose
• Coat parts using approved procedures per specifications

• Maintain and clean equipment regularly

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and related equipment
• Ability to read and operate basic measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, protractor)
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and consistency
• Self-motivated and responsive to production requirements
• Team player who puts the group's success first
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
