Job summary

WEBCO MFG in Kansas is seeking an Industrial Painter to join our Paint Team. You will apply liquid and powder coatings to sheet and plate metal, ensuring quality and efficiency while meeting customer specifications.

The role requires at least 1 year of liquid painting or powder coating experience, strong attention to detail, and adherence to coating processes. We offer ESOP, a best-in-class benefits package, flexible scheduling, and OT opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum of liquid painting, powder coating, and/or deburr experience.
• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of paint application techniques, mixing, multi‑coat timing, curing for liquid coatings.

Responsibilities

• Clean and mask parts prior to painting, avoid weld splatter and oxide.
• Identify defects such as cracks or bad welds for repair.
• Select and use appropriate tools based on paint characteristics.
• Apply liquid paint following manufacturer recommendations.
• Inspect parts for paint defects and repair before release.
• Maintain painting tools and equipment.
• Manage time effectively.

We are seeking an INDUSTRIAL PAINTER to join our Industrial Paint Team in this customer-focused industry. A successful industrial Painterat WEBCO MFG delivers Quality with Efficiency, applying liquid and powder coatings to parts made from sheet and plate metal to meet customer specifications and expectations.

Job duties:

• Clean and mask parts prior to painting, assure no weld splatter and laser oxide.


• Identify defects such as cracks, splits, poor welds for repair.


• Select and use appropriate application tools according to paint characteristics.


• Apply liquid paint according to manufacturer recommendations.


• Inspect part for paint defects and repair any defects before releasing part from area.


• Maintain tools used for painting tasks.


• Manage time appropriately.


• Learns and applies understanding of proper application of painting equipment used to do required work.

Skills/Requirements:

• 1 year minimum of liquid painting, powder coating, and/or deburr experience


• Positive Attitude and Strong Attention to Detail


• Strong working knowledge of paint application techniques, mixing, multi-coat timing, curing for all types of liquid coatings used in an industrial setting.
