InnerSpace is seeking a Powder Coat Operator on first shift to join our manufacturing team. You will apply high-quality powder coating to metal parts and assemblies, following safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has experience with powder coating or industrial paint equipment, and a demonstrated commitment to producing a consistent finish. This full-time role offers stability and growth in a metal fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 6 months of powder coating, industrial painting, or paint line experience.
• Experience operating industrial spray equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and safety documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable attendance and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Apply powder coating to metal parts, assemblies, and completed products.
• Set up and adjust powder coating equipment, including selecting the proper nozzles and settings to ensure even, consistent coverage.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, masking, and inspecting parts prior to coating.
• Use proper spraying techniques to minimize overspray and material waste.
• Inspect finished parts to verify coating quality and identify any defects requiring rework.
• Maintain paint equipment and keep the paint line and work area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Read and follow work instructions, production documents, and safety procedures.
• Assist with other production duties as needed.
