Job summary

The role supports manufacturing, finishing, and quality operations in the Production Department, applying powder coating to metal parts and ensuring finish quality.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of powder coating experience, knowledge of coating techniques, and the ability to safely operate coating equipment and lift up to 65 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of recent powder coating experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of powder coating techniques, industrial painting methods, and finishing processes.
• Ability to safely operate coating equipment and identify quality issues during production.
• Ability to stand, bend, walk, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 65 pounds independently and handle heavier items with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Apply powder coating to metal products using established production standards and coating techniques.
• Operate and maintain powder coating equipment while ensuring proper application, coverage, and finish quality.
• Inspect finished products for coating consistency, thickness, appearance, and adherence to customer specifications.
• Assist with product preparation, material handling, and movement of parts throughout the coating process.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area while supporting daily manufacturing goals.
