Job summary

Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily powder coat painting operations, emphasizing safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will coach teams, manage staffing, and coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to resolve issues and drive improvements.

This on-site role requires strong floor leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical degree plus 3+ years of supervisory experience or equivalent.
• Experience leading teams in manufacturing or production environments.
• Powder coat painting knowledge or related industrial finishing preferred.
• Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office; Oracle skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead production leads, employees, and contractors to meet safety, quality, productivity, and attendance goals.
• Set priorities, assign work, monitor progress, and adjust staffing to meet schedules.
• Provide visible floor leadership and drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee powder coating process steps: prep, racking, pretreatment, application, curing, inspection.
