Job summary

South Western Communications, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Painter (Powder Coat) in Missouri. Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-1:30am with pay of $18–$20/hr plus a $2/hr shift differential. Training on the 1st shift may be required.

You will apply powder coating using cone, disk, or nozzle equipment and may rotate between stations as needed. Strong attention to detail and safe work practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Powder coating knowledge or experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs and shop docs.
• Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Start and adjust conveyor and spray equipment.
• Set paint pressure and flow; monitor gauges.
• Hang parts as they come off the line.
• Inspect parts for paint quality (runs, sags, missed areas).
• Adjust spray patterns to correct coating issues.
