Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking a Powder Coat Operator to perform daily setup and operation of the powder coat machine and oven, applying powder coat or wet paint per standard work.

You will wash and dry racks, inspect finishes for quality, maintain equipment, and participate in Continuous Improvement, 5S and safety programs, contributing to a team delivering packaging and supply chain solutions.

Responsibilities

• Washes and dries rack to prepare for powder coat/wet paint
• Inspect finishes of workpieces or finished products to ensure conformance to quality standards
• Clean and maintain powder coat equipment
• After training - must be able to check MIL thickness/rub test. Complete oven check sheets
• Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation
• Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities
• Contribute to a team effort
• Maintain a safe and clean work space
• Ensure coated racksreceive identifier upon completion
• Performs basic preventive maintenance
• Other duties as assigned
