Job summary

MEC (Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.) is seeking a Powder Coat Operator to support the coating line. The role includes line setup, scanning parts into ERP, hanging uncoated parts, unloading, plugging parts, and inspecting coated parts for quality adherence.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and basic math and computer skills, with LOTO awareness training preferred. Strong communication and reliability are essential for success on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in basic math and computer skills.
• LOTO awareness level training.

Responsibilities

• Set up the coating line, scan parts into the ERP, hang uncoated parts on the conveyor, unload the line, plug parts, and inspect coated parts for quality.
• Pack parts as required (including wrapping or layering in a cage).
• Scan quantities, piece counts and weights into the computer, print labels, and apply stickers.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures.
• Use crane and hoist as needed.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
