Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville is seeking a Paint Helper for Beaver Dam to support the paint line with kitting, loading/unloading, and packaging. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and quality-consciousness in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The 1st shift runs 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime possible. Candidates should have basic math and computer skills and be able to follow instructions, maintain clean work areas, and meet production standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential duties in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Experience in painting or powder coat settings is a plus.
• Lean manufacturing exposure is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm job order and material selections; report shortages.
• Tape and mask parts for coating.
• Hang parts uniformly on conveyors for cleaning and painting.
• Assist with line assembly as needed.
• Inspect coated parts for coating thickness.
• Keep work area clean and organized; maintain PPE usage.
