Job summary

POLYWOOD® is seeking a dependable 1st Shift Powder Coat Area Lead to support daily operations in the powder coat process. This hands-on role coordinates communication, troubleshoots coating issues, and assists production to ensure smooth flow and quality.

Responsibilities include managing emails and part orders in Sabretooth, maintaining equipment, testing chemicals, and ensuring EPA standards. Join a team focused on reliability, detail, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, powder coating, or a lead role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willing to support the production line hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Manage emails, chats, and shared sheets to ensure information reaches the right areas.
• Scan out parts orders in Sabretooth and request orders as needed.
• Troubleshoot coating settings for each part and color.
• Perform powder gun maintenance and cleaning.
• Support line and hook maintenance as required.
• Assist with hanging, pulling, or coating parts during production.
• Test washer tank chemicals daily to meet EPA standards.
• Communicate across shifts to ensure smooth handoffs.
• Track inventory of powder, chemicals, and supplies.
