PrideStaff in Escalon, CA is seeking a Powder Coat 1 associate to support powder coating and wet paint processes in a manufacturing setting. You will hang/remove parts with a crane, apply powder, mask, and paint, and help troubleshoot equipment to keep production flowing.

Qualified candidates have recent related work experience, can stand long periods and lift 50+ pounds, are 18+, and can pass background and drug screening. Schedule is Mon–Fri 6:30am–3:00pm with overtime as needed.

Formación

• Recent, relevant work experience within the past 12 months.
• Ability to stand for long periods and consistently lift 50+ pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Schedule: M-F from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm (OT as needed)

Responsabilidades

• Hang and remove parts from the powder coat line with a crane.
• Apply dry powder to parts prior to curing in an oven.
• Mask and tape parts as required.
• Paint wet paint on equipment-related accessories to MIL spec.
• Troubleshoot painting equipment and adjust as needed.
• Assemble paint kits for equipment.
• Maintain records of VOC usage.

PrideStaff is looking for Powder Coat 1 associates for a manufacturing company in Escalon, CA.

The Powder Coat 1/ Wet Paint 1 is responsible for tasks related to the powder coating and wet paint process at a basic level in order to support the organization’s production requirements.
Responsibilities Include the Following: Responsible for hanging and removing parts from the powder coat line with crane Able to apply dry powder to parts prior to curing in oven Proficient use of hand tools Responsible for blowing off steel grit coming out of blaster Responsible for the masking and taping of parts Responsible for the painting of wet paint to equipment related accessories to required MIL spec Can troubleshoot problems with painting equipment; knows the appropriate adjustments to make to the equipment Responsible for assmebling paint kits for equipment Responsible for recordkeeping of VOC usage
