Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group in North Kingstown, RI is seeking an entry-level Production Operator to operate industrial blenders according to established production schedules. No prior experience is required.

You will inspect equipment, read work orders, measure ingredients, transfer materials, and ensure cleanliness and safety while helping meet daily production goals. Tremco offers benefits including health insurance, PTO, retirement plans, and performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• No formal educational requirement.
• No prior experience or training.
• Complies with safety rules and ISO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspects equipment, structures, and materials to identify problems or defects prior to production.
• Reads and follows work orders and formulas to meet production specifications.
• Examines materials, ingredients, or product per quality standards.
• Weighs or measures materials per requirements.
• Adds and mixes raw materials according to specifications.
• Transfers materials between work areas.
• Discharges blenders of powder when necessary.
• Ensures quality and conformity of blended products to meet standards.
• Ensures equipment is set-up, cleaned, sanitized, and operating properly before, after and between runs.
• Records production data on specified forms/production documents.
• Reports malfunctions to a supervisor and coordinates maintenance.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Meets production goals for daily/weekly runs.
