Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Experience in vaccinations and pullet moves is required.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work and communicate well with others are required.
• Physical type work is a demand for this role.
• Ability to prepare work schedules and adjust to sudden changes in workloads is required.
• A background check will be performed as stated in the Aviagen Employee Handbook.

Responsibilities

• Work flexible hours and be on call 24/7.
• Ensure that all vaccination and move procedures are performed correctly by the crew.
• Manage a crew with high efficiency and high quality standards.
• Properly handle vaccine in transport as well as in chicken houses.
• Ensure biosecurity of farms, equipment, area buildings, vehicles, etc.
• Complete schedules and service reports.
• Repair vaccination equipment, injection guns, water‑vac pumps, etc.
• Do blood monitoring and rodent inspections involving baiting and checking traps.
• Health & Safety of employees is a major part of job duties.
