Job summary

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver license, and experience with two-way radios; tractor trailer experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or better.
• Valid driver license required.
• Experience with two-way radios helpful.
• Experience with tractor trailers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely move trailers between docks, staging areas, parking lots, and yard locations.
• Position trailers at loading docks for shipping and receiving operations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on jockey trucks and trailers.
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness, condition, and temperature settings before loading.
• Maintain trailer flow and yard traffic to support efficient shipping operations.
• Communicate trailer movements and dock assignments with shipping staff and drivers.
• Ensure trailers are secured and docked before loading/unloading.
• Follow USDA, HACCP, GMP, OSHA, DOT, and safety procedures.
