Job summary

Elanco is hiring a Quality Control Technician for Animal Care at the Winslow site. The role involves poultry husbandry, assisting with vaccine testing, facility maintenance, and animal welfare oversight. Expect duties that support regulatory standards and SOP implementation.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with an Associate degree in animal or biological sciences preferred. Weekend coverage and FBI background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED.
• Associates degree in animal or biological sciences preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead/assist routine procedures involved in vaccine testing and care for the animals.
• Maintain cleanliness of animal facilities in regulatory inspection condition.
• Provide care and monitor environmental conditions (temperature, feed, water, etc.).
• Maintain accurate records per USDA regulations and assist with SOPs.
• Assist the site Veterinarian in auditing testing buildings and procedures.
