Job summary

Daybreak Foods, Inc. in Whitewater, WI is seeking a Supervisor to lead a poultry operations team under the Manager's direction. You will supervise daily staff activities, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to animal welfare practices and safety procedures.

You will coordinate training, conduct performance evaluations, track weekly metrics, and assist with audits. On-call for 24-hour alarms and support improvements across shifts. Prior leadership experience in poultry is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Ag or Business preferred.
• 5+ years of poultry industry experience.
• 3–5 years leadership experience in production.
• 1–3 years in a leadership role.
• Basic preventive maintenance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Commit to Daybreak Foods animal welfare standards.
• Supervise daily staff operations.
• Monitor completion and accuracy of daily chore sheets.
• Oversee barn environmental controls and corrective actions.
• Monitor equipment and necessary PMs.
• Ensure effective safety practices are followed.
• Assist with animal welfare programs and audits.
• On call for 24-hour alarm responses.
• Provide thorough training for employees.
• Monitor stakeholder activity and optimize efficiency.
• Provide coaching and progress discipline as needed.
• Assist with performance evaluations.
• Collect weekly numbers and create final reports.
• Responsible for bird moves.
• Other duties as assigned.
