Responsibilities

• Supervises the work of all hourly employees in assigned departments
• Train, assign duties, conduct performance reviews, communicate policies and other work-related matters, and motivate employees
• Reports machinery malfunctions to the maintenance department
• Supervises housekeeping of the department
• Responsible for safety, ergonomics, and job training of all employees; ensure PPE and safe operation of equipment
• Responsible for department efficiency, cost, and quality of departmental goals
• Be able to review financials and develop action plans to address efficiencies during monthly meetings
• Performs other supervisory duties as needed or assigned
