Job summary

Zoetis, Inc in Iowa is seeking a Manufacturing Scheduler for Poultry to coordinate production orders with supply chain and scheduling teams. The role ensures the labs and workforce capacity meet demand and deadlines while aligning with Zoetis policies and regulatory guidelines.

You will back up team leaders, engage colleagues, and help drive continuous improvement in production workflows and lab capabilities, including floor/ lab operations and audits.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with 2-4 years of leadership experience or BS/MS/MBA with 0-2 years leadership experience or minimum 3 years relevant experience in a biologics manufacturing site.
• Experience with biologics manufacturing, microbiology, biology, or related scientific field.
• Knowledge of SAP MRP, and inventory management principles; strong analytical/problem resolution skills.
• Experience with SAP/Epic standard tools like Trackwise or DMAIC/lean tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review Poultry lab capacities and capabilities.
• Coordinate with supply chain to fulfill Process orders.
• Understand timing of process orders via SAP.
• Ensure timely release of process orders with cross‑department collaboration.
• Participate in budget processes and quarterly financial reviews.
• Manage multiple production schedules and create long/short-term plans.
• Support floor and lab operations, safety meetings, and shift changes.
• Be flexible with daily start times and on‑call support when needed.
