Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Production Associate to join our team in a fast-paced environment. You’ll perform cutting, trimming, packaging, and inspection tasks to meet strict food safety and quality standards on the production line.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and following biosecurity guidelines while collaborating with coworkers to achieve production goals and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask, communicate well, follow instructions, be a team player and work near others at some stations.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products using tools, manual labor and equipment per USDA/Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety, food safety and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support team members by sharing skills and knowledge while promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by performing tasks in different areas of production as needed.
