Job summary

DG Foods is seeking dependable, safety-minded individuals to join our poultry processing team in Bastrop, LA. Openings include production associates, debone line associates, poultry cutters, packaging team members, material handlers, and general laborers.

You will process, trim, debone, cut, package, label, and inspect poultry products while following GMP, USDA, HACCP, and company food safety procedures. This role requires PPE and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Reliable transportation to and from Bastrop, LA.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Process, trim, debone, cut, package, label, and inspect poultry products.
• Operate production equipment and use knives and hand tools safely.
• Maintain production goals while meeting quality and yield standards.

• Process, trim, debone, cut, package, label, and inspect poultry products.
• Operate production equipment and use knives and hand tools safely.
• Maintain production goals while meeting quality and yield standards.
• Follow all GMP, USDA, HACCP, and company food safety procedures.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Wear required PPE and report safety or equipment concerns immediately.
• Support team members and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• At least 18 years old.

Preferred

• Poultry, food manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Perform repetitive tasks using hands and arms.
• Work in cold, wet, and refrigerated conditions.
• Wear required PPE, including cut-resistant gloves, hairnets, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
