Job summary

Bell & Evans is seeking a hands-on poultry processing associate. The role involves handling live or raw chicken, weighing, packing, deboning, and assisting with QA to ensure temperature and product integrity.

You will operate scales and basic production equipment, adhere to safety protocols, and follow production schedules with supervision. Applicants should be able to work in hot, cold, wet, and noisy environments, stand for long periods, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete checklists

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain basic production equipment.
• Weigh product on floor scale and print label.
• Move product to storage or shipping areas.
• Inspect and ensure product seals are correct and match production screens.
• Coordinate with leads to follow production schedules to maintain WIP.
• Follow recipes and ensure correct weights and ingredient mix.
• Work in various conditions (hot, cold, wet, noisy).
• Stand for long periods and lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds.
