Job summary

Cobb is hiring for a production/data collection role in the United States. The position performs data collection in feed conversion houses and dissection laboratories using tablets, scales, and other tools.

The schedule is first shift, Monday to Friday, with safety and biosecurity protocols strictly enforced. Responsibilities include weighing birds, recording data, monitoring physiological signals, euthanasia and dissection per protocol, and supporting general housekeeping and equipment

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no major gaps in employment in the past 36 months.
• Previous work history may be considered for rehires with a 180 day waiting period.
• Bi security/Animal Welfare guidelines must be followed at all times.

Responsibilities

• Collect data in feed conversion houses and dissection laboratory using measuring instruments and electronic devices.
• Perform duties in both feed conversion houses (roughly 50% of tasks) and dissection laboratory (roughly 40%), with specific steps like weighing birds, recording feed, monitoring heart rate and oxygen, and disposing of deceased birds.
• Assist with routine housekeeping, sanitation, and cage setup; segregate birds by line and sex; operate equipment safely; follow protocols for euthanasia and tissue collection.
