Perdue Farms, Inc. is seeking a Sanitation Laborer for our Perry, Georgia facility to maintain a clean, safe, and production-ready environment. You will use specialized cleaning tools to meet USDA and Perdue QA standards and support food safety goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years in a comparable field.
• High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required.
• Experience in a poultry processing/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble equipment as necessary to properly clean.
• Use water, chemicals and scrub pads to clean equipment to a level acceptable to USDA and Perdue QA.
• Must be able to wipe down condensation after cleaning.
• Must be trained and able to use Lock out / Tag out procedures.
• Wear PPE such as steel-toed boots, bump cap, safety glasses/goggles, rain suits and ear plugs.
• Must be able to help assemble some equipment in certain areas for production startup.
• Follow all reasonable requests by supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor, including working with other departments as needed.
