Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to lead the sanitation team in a poultry processing facility. The role ensures cleaning and sanitizing processes meet GMP, USDA, and FDA standards, coordinating with QA to maintain a safe, sanitary environment.

The position requires 3+ years in food manufacturing with leadership experience, and a strong understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety regulations. On-site role with potential for overtime and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three years in a food manufacturing environment; poultry experience preferred.
• Three years of leadership experience; knowledge of timekeeping, policy adherence, and conflict resolution.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, their interactions and hazards.
• Working knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations (OSHA, GMP, HACCP).
• Good written and verbal communication; multi-lingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day sanitation team activities to meet GMP, USDA, FDA guidelines.
• Partners with Quality Assurance to ensure a food-safe environment.
• Enforces safety regulations (OSHA, FSIS, USDA, HACCP).
• Collaborates with other departments to meet location goals.
• Mentors and trains employees, provides constructive feedback.
• Supports audits and regulatory inspections.
