Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a maintenance technician for general and preventive maintenance on poultry-processing equipment. You will use basic tools, read technical drawings, and follow PPE and regulatory guidelines in a fast-paced food-manufacturing environment.

Fluency in English is required; prior experience with ammonia systems and PM software is a plus. The role may involve lifting up to 100 lbs and working varied shifts, including weekends if needed.

Qualifications

• General and preventive maintenance experience in food manufacturing.
• 2+ years previous experience in industrial maintenance.
• Must speak/read/write English fluently.
• Read technical drawings and work with ammonia systems and refrigeration.
• Associate’s Degree or Technical Certificate or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide general and preventive maintenance on food manufacturing equipment.
• Work with ammonia/refrigeration systems and maintain PM records.
• Follow PPE rules and company policies, and comply with regulatory guidelines.
• Read blueprints and interpret technical drawings to service machinery.
