The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least three years of experience in agriculture lending, alongside strong analytical and interpersonal skills. The Lending Officer is responsible for developing and expanding agriculture and small business loans, both directly and indirectly. This role evaluates loan feasibility, streamlines the loan processing workflow, and oversees the loan closing process. Additionally, the Lending Officer ensures compliance with company policies and guaranteed loan programs, including SBA and FSA underwriting guidelines (when applicable). Staying informed on agricultural and small business lending trends is also a key aspect of this position.
