The role requires teamwork, safety awareness, and ability to work in a fast-paced poultry processing environment. Responsibilities include cleaning hatchers and hallways, moving buggies, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in temperature extremes.
• Must be able to push/pull large wheeled buggies (up to 1000 pounds) and maneuver them up to 50 feet.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds of equipment or product.
• Must be able to climb 10 steps and work at heights up to 10 feet.
• Understand Hazardous Communications and proper chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Clean hatchers by scraping, scrubbing and removing chick debris with a pressure hose and disinfectant treatments.
• Clean hatcher hallway daily and ensure hatchers are free of chick debris across shifts.
• Unload and reload buggies for cleaning to maintain production efficiency.
• Adhere to team practices and company policies, participating in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
