Job summary

Select Genetics is seeking a Serviceman to support day-to-day farm operations across multiple sites in North Carolina. You will help uphold biosecurity, animal welfare, and safety while collaborating with Farm Managers to run a safe, efficient operation.

You may drive a company vehicle and assist in delivering supplies as needed. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred, and a valid NC driver’s license with a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree in a related field preferred.
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
• Bi-lingual Spanish speaking skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of animal husbandry and welfare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow directives of Breeder Manager and maintain safe/clean farm environment.
• Supervise washing and disinfecting turkey production facilities.
• Drive company vehicle and occasionally deliver supplies.
• Work with Farm Managers and peers to build a high-performing team.
• Meet biosecurity, animal welfare, and safety regulations.
• Willing to work extended hours and some weekends.
