Job summary

Duck's Poultry Service in North Carolina seeks a Crew Supervisor in Training to provide daily leadership to the crew under the Team Supervisor. You will communicate assignments, reinforce procedures, and help ensure safe, accurate work. As you develop proficiency, you’ll assume more leadership tasks and cover for the Team Supervisor when needed.

Expect early start times (4:30 a.m. on weekdays), vaccine preparation assistance, and active involvement in vaccine checks, biosecurity, and animal

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate work instructions clearly, lead by example, and coach crew members respectfully.
• Dependable attendance, readiness for an early start, and ability to work the schedule required for assigned field operations.
• Ability to learn and follow vaccination, quality, safety, biosecurity, and animal welfare procedures.
• Willingness to perform hands-on crew work, receive feedback, and take increasing responsibility within established authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach crew daily; communicate assignments and reinforce procedures.
• Assist Team Supervisor with vaccine preparation and equipment checks.
• Monitor workflow, resolve routine issues, and report delays to the Team Supervisor.
• Promote safe work practices and identify practical improvements to crew preparation and quality.
