Job summary

Duck's Poultry Service in North Carolina is seeking a Crew Supervisor in Training to provide direct, daily leadership to the crew under the Team Supervisor. You will assign tasks, support vaccine preparation, ensure proper equipment, and model safety and biosecurity standards.

As you demonstrate leadership and performance, you’ll take on additional responsibilities and coverage. The role begins with an early start and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate work instructions clearly and coach crew members.
• Dependable attendance and readiness for early start.
• Ability to learn and follow vaccination, quality, safety, biosecurity, and animal welfare procedures.
• Willingness to perform hands-on crew work and take increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership to crew members and communicate assignments clearly.
• Assist Team Supervisor with vaccine preparation and ensuring equipment and supplies are ready.
• Monitor workflow, resolve routine issues, and keep Team Supervisor informed of delays or concerns.
• Support safety, biosecurity, and animal welfare practices throughout the day.
• Identify practical improvements and participate in leadership development and training.
