Duck's Poultry Service is seeking a self-motivated crew member to join a team of about 10, working on-site at Georgia poultry farms. The job requires reporting to the shop at a fixed time, starting around 4:30 am to load equipment and perform responsibilities with strict biosecurity.

Responsibilities

• Unload equipment at site and begin setup per crew leader.
• Move birds carefully and follow directions on counts per hand.
• Assist in driving birds into catch pen when needed.
• Maintain a neat, organized work environment and deliver tasks as directed.
• Vaccinate vaccines only as instructed by crew supervisor.

We provide services to multiple poultry companies located in the North Georgia area. The services that we provide to our customers include vaccination, pullet moving, and sorting. Each of these services are provided on site of the chicken farm.

Job Summary

Our company is seeking a self-motivated, hard-working individual to fill our poultry crew member position. The successful candidate will be part of a team of approximately 10 crew members that work together to fulfill the various services that we provide. Dust and sweat are a product of our fast pace work environment. Crew members will report each day to our shop location at your appointed report time. Transportation to and from our office is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Monday- Friday work schedule. Saturdays are voluntary


• Arrive each day to the shop at 4:30 am (unless you are told otherwise) to assist in loading


• Follow all Biosecurity protocol (coveralls, disinfected boots, hair net)


• When arrive on site be prepared to unload all necessary equipment and begin setting up


• according to the crew leader's directive.


• Birds will be carefully flushed to one end of the chicken house using a net


• For each service we provide the crew leader will give direction on how many birds are to be carried per hand.


• Assist in driving birds into catch pen when necessary.


• Carefully watch birds to make sure birds are not piling up.


• Maintain a Neat and Organized work environment.


• As part of the TEAM you will complete task given to you by your crew leader.


• Mix vaccines ONLY as instructed by the Crew Supervisor (Vaccinating only)


• Precisely administer vaccines ONLY as instructed by crew leader (vaccinating only)


• Properly count birds being vaccinated, moved in cages, or sorted.


• Return all items to their proper location in an organized manner.


• Clean and disinfecting equipment when arrive back to shop.
