In This Role You’ll Make An Impact By

  • Focus on securing new business and maintaining current business with poultry accounts. Products supported include all poultry products within the Novonesis Animal Health portfolio.
  • Responsible for developing new business with key poultry accounts.
  • Implement the US AH&N Business Unit strategies as it relates to our Poultry portfolio.
  • Maintain in-depth high level contacts with key end users and influencers, keeping them informed of price trends, new products and applications.
  • Investigate customer complaints and solve routine industry problems on site. This includes, but is not limited to, new product applications, marketing efforts, new facilities, price trends, and key industry personnel.
  • Meet or exceed sales budget targets on a year-to-year basis.
  • Provides timely sales and product forecasts, reports and information as required.

To Succeed You Must Hold

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Food Technology or Chemistry preferred
  • Minimum of five to seven years of sales experience in the feed industry and/or feed additive industry with focus on swine and/or poultry
  • Possess good negotiation and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.
  • Must have technical skills to know the right questions to ask of customers.
  • Must be a self-starter with drive and initiative and work with little supervision.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of working time.

Location: Remote

Expected salary range: $125,000 - $150,000 base
