Job description

We are seeking a Pouching Operator to join our production team! Pouching Operators play a key role in ensuring our products are packaged efficiently, accurately, and according to quality standards here at Herballyyours. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow precise instructions, and a commitment to safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The ideal candidate is a dependable team player who takes pride in producing high-quality work and can adapt to the fast pace of a production environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, break down and monitor machine for consistent performance and accurate output
• Ensure the correct materials, packaging components, and labels are used for each production run
• Conduct visual inspections for seal integrity, correct labeling, and packaging quality
• Follow good documentation practice and good manufacturing practice as per guidelines
• Perform routine cleaning and daily maintenance of equipment before and after use
• Work with team to Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or quality issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area according to sanitation and safety protocols
• Weigh and count product to ensure correct pouch fill volumes
• Follow GMPs and SOPs consistently throughout operations
• Meet daily production quotas while maintaining accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read and write in English
• Basic math skills (percentages, weight conversions, addition, subtraction)
• Familiarity with both metric and standard measurement systems
• Ability to lift and move 4050 lbs repeatedly
• Comfortable standing for 810 hour shifts
• Good manual dexterity and handeye coordination
• Previous experience with related machinery preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
