Qualifications

• Experience operating pouch-making, flexible packaging, converting, slitting, printing, or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Experience in production or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and production documentation.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply written work instructions and production documentation.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to read ruler measurements accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flexible packaging equipment according to production orders and customer specifications.
• Prepare machines for production runs by ensuring proper materials, tooling, and machine settings.
• Maintain production rates while monitoring alignment and quality.
• Make machine adjustments to ensure efficient operation and consistent quality.
• Follow quality assurance procedures and production specifications throughout runs.
• Conduct ongoing inspections during production to verify product quality and compliance.
• Collect and document production samples in accordance with quality standards.
• Complete quality control documentation and production records accurately and timely.
• Monitor and maintain accurate production counts throughout the process.
• Package finished goods according to customer requirements and product specifications.

CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring Pouch Operators in Hampton, NH!

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pouch Operator / Flexible Packaging Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for operating flexible packaging and pouch-making equipment to produce high-quality finished products that meet customer specifications, quality standards, production schedules, and safety requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flexible packaging equipment (Pouch Machines) according to production orders and customer specifications.
• Prepare machines for production runs by ensuring proper materials, tooling, and machine settings are in place.
• Maintain optimal production rates while monitoring product registration, alignment, and overall quality.
• Make machine adjustments as necessary to ensure efficient operation and consistent product quality.
• Follow all quality assurance procedures and production specifications throughout each production run.
• Conduct ongoing inspections during production to verify product quality and compliance with specifications.
• Collect and document production samples in accordance with quality standards.
• Complete quality control documentation and production records accurately and timely.
• Monitor and maintain accurate production counts throughout the production process.
• Package finished goods according to customer requirements and product specifications.
