JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Edwin L. Herr Counseling Clinic is seeking part-time masters-level individuals to assist in staffing clinic operations and work in conjunction with personnel. Responsibilities include ensuring all clinic and professional guidelines are followed and assisting clinic personnel.

Responsibilities:

1. Know and understand all Clinic Policies.
2. Conduct research on topics related to Telehealth counseling for elementary and secondary school students.
3. Design presentations for K-12 students and teachers.
4. Present on topics designed for K-12 students and teachers.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience and/or coursework toward a Master's in Counselor Education, Mental Health Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, or School Counseling.
• Experience and ability to deal with major mental health crises.

Clearances Required:

This job requires the following three publicly available clearances:

• PA State Police Criminal Background Check
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance
• FBI Criminal Background Check
