Job summary

Danos is seeking a Water Treatment Operator in Pecos, TX to operate, monitor, and maintain potable water, wastewater, and chemical treatment systems supporting a data center facility.

You will perform routine sampling, monitor readings, adjust dosing, inspect equipment, maintain logs, and respond to alarms to ensure continuous operations in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in potable water treatment, wastewater treatment, or industrial water treatment required.
• Experience with chemical treatment processes and chemical dosing strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of water treatment equipment such as pumps, valves, filters, tanks, piping, and chemical feed systems.
• Ability to perform basic water quality testing and understand treatment parameters.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues.
• Experience in a municipal water facility, wastewater facility, industrial plant, manufacturing facility, power generation facility, chemical facility, or similar environment is preferred.
• Ability to work safely around water treatment chemicals and industrial equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately maintain operating records.

• Respond to alarms and system issues to help maintain continuous facility operations.
• Follow all environmental, health, safety, and facility procedures.
• Coordinate with maintenance, facilities, and operations personnel as needed.
