We’re seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to support the continued growth of our Water/Wastewater practice in Iowa. This role is a great fit for someone with experience in potable water infrastructure who is looking to expand their technical skills, gain additional project experience, and take on increasing responsibility over time.
You’ll work closely with experienced project managers and engineers on municipal water and wastewater projects while developing greater responsibility for project tasks, client coordination, and project delivery.
Projects span the full lifecycle of municipal potable water infrastructure, including:
You’ll have the opportunity to contribute throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, design, permitting, bidding, and construction.
You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop practical, cost-effective solutions for municipal clients. Responsibilities may include supporting the design and development of potable water systems, preparing plans and specifications, performing engineering calculations and analysis, coordinating with project team members, and assisting with permitting and construction-phase activities.
As you gain experience, you’ll have opportunities to take on greater responsibility for individual project tasks, coordinate directly with clients and stakeholders, and support project managers with scope, schedule, budget, and delivery.
Your work will focus heavily on potable water systems, including treatment facilities, storage infrastructure, pumping systems, and distribution networks, while also providing opportunities to support wastewater treatment and collection system projects.
