Overview

About Catalyst Brands Creative Services & OperationsCatalyst Brands Creative Services & Operations is the team responsible for driving and owning the content supply chain that powers our six iconic brands. We deliver high-quality creative content across every brand and every channel — ensuring efficiency, consistency, and innovation throughout the process.

Role OverviewThe Sr. Specialist, Image Quality & Post-Production supports post-production operations and image quality across Catalyst Brands' creative photography, including eCommerce, marketing, editorial, social, and brand content.

This role is responsible for coordinating the flow of assets through post-production, ensuring image quality, managing routing and delivery, and partnering with internal creative teams, producers, photographers, and external vendors to deliver high-quality assets on time.

The Sr. Specialist combines strong creative judgment with operational excellence, balancing visual quality, workflow coordination, production timelines, and cross-functional communication across multiple brands and channels.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Image Review & Quality Control Conduct detailed QA of marketing and editorial imagery to ensure visual consistency, accurate color, retouching quality, and alignment with creative direction. Review and annotate images for corrections or enhancements before release. Validate that files meet brand and technical specifications for multiple channels (web, print, digital, social). Partner with the QA Manager and retouching vendors to ensure timely revisions and approvals.

2. Post-Production Operations & Asset Coordination Coordinate daily movement of photography assets through the post-production lifecycle, ensuring priorities and deadlines are maintained. Monitor workload, delivery schedules, and post-production queues to proactively identify risks or bottlenecks. Support production teams by tracking asset status, routing priorities, and delivery milestones. Escalate timeline risks or workflow issues to production leadership as needed. Manage daily routing of images through post-production and DAM systems (Letsflo, Pixelz, Sitecore DAM). Ensure all files are named, tagged, and archived accurately according to Catalyst taxonomy and metadata standards. Collaborate with the DAM/Tech team to troubleshoot any issues in asset delivery or file ingestion. Maintain clear communication with retouching vendors and studio teams on delivery timelines and requirements.

3. Creative & Vendor Collaboration Serve as the operational link between the creative team (Art/Creative Directors) and post-production vendors. Translate creative feedback into actionable retouching notes with clarity and precision. Provide reference materials, markup guidance, and QA checklists to vendors to ensure consistency across campaigns. Participate in creative reviews and color-approval sessions as needed.

4. Production Coordination & Workflow Management Coordinate multiple concurrent post-production projects across brands, channels, and business partners. Maintain visibility into project status, priorities, approvals, and delivery timelines. Support Producers and Creative Operations with asset tracking, scheduling, and production communications. Help balance workloads across internal teams and external partners. Participate in production meetings, status reviews, and workflow planning sessions.

Workflow & Process Improvement Identify recurring QA or routing issues and recommend workflow improvements. Contribute to documentation of post-production SOPs, naming conventions, and QA guidelines. Partner with the Creative Operations Analyst to track throughput, turnaround times, and SLA performance. Support implementation of new AI or automation tools for image QA and visual enhancement testing.

5. Cross-Team Collaboration Partner closely with Producers, Creative Operations, Photo Studios, Merchandising, Marketing, DAM, Creative teams, and external partners to ensure seamless movement of assets throughout the content supply chain. Act as a central point of communication for post-production status, approvals, and delivery updates. Provide feedback to offshore Image Quality + AI Production Artists to guide consistency and QA accuracy. Collaborate with Photo Studio and Post Vendors to maintain delivery cadence and meet publishing deadlines.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in post-production, retouching management, or image QA, ideally within fashion, retail, or creative agency environments.
  • Deep understanding of image composition, lighting, color correction, and retouching standards.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, and related tools.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with Art Directors and external retouching vendors.
  • Experience managing image workflows across DAM and studio production systems (Letsflo/Shotflow, Pixelz, Sitecore DAM).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in file management, metadata, and quality control.
