GW Hospital, a 395-bed teaching facility, emphasizes cardiac, cancer, neurosciences, women’s health and advanced surgical procedures. ACLS/PALS/NRP and BLS certifications are required, with ASN/BSN preferred and DC licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification required or obtained within three months.
• BLS certification required.
• Current state nursing license.
• One year FT or three years PT experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care per facility policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times.
