Job summary

MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Postpartum Unit 5D/5F to deliver family-centered care and support high-risk obstetric patients, in alignment with the Special Mom, Special Baby program.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• If prepared at the associate degree in nursing level required to enroll in a BSN program within 12 months of hire date and completion within 4 years of hire date.
• Prior clinical nursing experience is preferred.
• RN licensure in the District of Columbia required.
• CPR certification for healthcare providers (AHA/Red Cross) within 90 days required.
• C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) is required within 12 months for Perinatal nurses; new graduates have 15 months to obtain certification.
