Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited prelicensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Graduate of an accredited prelicensure Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with 2+ years of nursing experience.
• Current RN license in Georgia (unencumbered).
• BLS certification; ACLS may be required for certain departments; multi-state compact license may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe, effective nursing care using the nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents care.
• Develops and implements care plans with patient/family input.
• Documents care accurately in electronic and physical records.
• Identifies learning needs and provides resources.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team and family partners.
• Assists in orientation and staff development as needed.
