Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Postpartum and Newborn Nursery unit in Irving, TX. This 13-week contract requires providing high-quality care to postpartum and high-risk antepartum patients, ensuring recovery and support for mothers and newborns.

The role demands active Texas RN licensure, a minimum of 2 years hospital experience, BLS, and newborn nursery expertise. Travel reimbursement and housing allowances may be provided by ARMStaffing.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License (Temporary license will NOT be accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in caring for high-risk antepartum patients and postpartum recoveries.
• Newborn Nursery experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly.
• Administer medications and perform procedures such as IV placement as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care.
