• Evaluates staff performance, providing feedback and coaching to maintain high standards of care.
• Oversees assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care and ensures care plans are followed.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and resolve issues related to patient flow.
• Manages shift handoffs, unit huddles, and effective communication among care teams.
• Monitors patient flow, bed assignments, and resource utilization within the unit.
