Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Preferred 2 years of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks safely, wear PPE and follow safety regulations.
• Complete 1 Near Miss and 1 Observation per month.
• Follow all quality processes and procedures.
• Create and maintain a team effort attitude and team approach.
• Meet productivity standards and maintain KPI boards and graphs.
• Troubleshoot quality or productivity issues on the line.
• Make adjustments to machinery as needed.
• Suggest process or procedure improvements and coordinate with lab staff.
• Perform 6S and other housekeeping duties for a clean, safe workplace.
• Obtain and maintain Operator Certification and train others as needed.

Responsibilities

Safety –

• Performs all tasks in a safe manner, wearing required PPE and following all safety regulations.
• Complete 1 Near Miss and 1 Observation per month.

Quality-

• Follow all quality processes and procedures.

• Create and maintain a team effort attitude and team approach
• Meet productivity standards
• Complete required documentation as well as completing the hourly KPI board and daily KPI graphs for your line.
• Troubleshoot issues with quality or productivity related to the team or the machine
• Make adjustments to machinery as needed
• Suggest improvements to processes or procedures
• Coordinate with lab personnel, Team Leader and Sr. Team Leader for issues and improvements
• Perform 6S and other housekeeping duties required for clean and safe work environment
• Obtain and maintain Operator Certification
• Train others as needed
• Additional duties as assigned
