Amerit Fleet Solutions in Needham, MA is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our fleet maintenance team. You’ll perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy duty vehicles, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure safety and compliance standards are met.

This role offers $40–$48 per hour with weekly pay, full benefits within 30 days, and opportunities for ASE certification reimbursement and career advancement nationwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ hands-on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to own and maintain personal tools and toolbox.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting and being on a mobile/work site.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical if required.

Pay: $40.00 – $48.00/hour (based on experience) Pay Frequency: Weekly pay – every Friday Schedule: Monday: 6:00am - 2:30pm | Tuesday - Friday: 2:00pm - 10:30pm

This role involves working in a mobile and or shop environment that may include exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical irritants such as oils and greases. Technicians must be able to perform essential functions that include lifting heavy objects, accessing tight spaces, and bending, stooping, crouching, or crawling as needed to complete repairs.
