$60.00 to $65.00 per hour

Job Description
The Senior Database Administrator should be able to diagnose and resolve challenging problems quickly. They will lead DBA support and SQL development for both on-premises data centers and cloud-based (AWS) systems. This individual handles technical escalations from help desk staff and supports our employees and contractors with these escalations. The goal will be to ensure that our clients' production data runs smoothly and efficiently. Primarily working with MSSQL, Postgres, MySQL, and Oracle but capable and willing to learn to work with other database types outside of these – e.g. ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Aurora, DynamoDB, or other databases in AWS.

Required Skills

• 5 years of extensive experience in Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, or Oracle
• Experience with following compliance and audit requirements (CCPA/GDPR, PII, PCI, SOX, HIPAA, etc)
• Experience working with Business Intelligence reporting tools, such as PowerBI
• Experience working with AWS (RDS, managed instance), or other cloud provider
• Experience with CI/CD enterprise practices
• Experience with data modeling
• Experience working with SSIS Packages, ETL, ELT.
• Experience interfacing with third-party integrations (with or without API)
• Experience with data warehousing

Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience
