Job summary

Open Systems Technologies Corporation is seeking a Postgres SME to design, deploy, and maintain high-performance PostgreSQL environments. You will troubleshoot performance issues, implement security, and optimize SQL queries while supporting data integrity across enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate holds a CS degree, is a US citizen with an active Secret clearance, and has hands-on PostgreSQL administration experience. Certificates like PostgreSQL Certified Professional are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS or related field.
• US Citizen and Active Secret Clearance required.
• Security+ or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven experience as Postgres DBA or SME.
• Advanced PostgreSQL administration, tuning, and monitoring.
• SQL/PLpgSQL programming proficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain high-performance Postgres environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues.
• Implement database security best practices and ensure data integrity.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design database solutions.
