Job Description:

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

• Experienced with various DBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases.

• Proficiency with SQL/ NoSQL DBs, Database Design, Data Modeling.

• Normalization, Performance Tuning, Data Security, Backup and Recovery and Transaction Management.

• Proficient at data analysis, identifying the backend sources and data mapping.

• Expert at architecting, designing and writing RESTful services.

• NoSQL Databases, Cloud Services, Version Control, ETL Processes, Data Warehousing, API Integration.

• Python, Java, Scala for SQL, ER diagrams, normalization, relational schema, data integrity, data mapping, data validation, and data transformation.

• ETL process, Data integration, Relational Database CURD operation, Database Joins, Mapplets, Parameterization, workflows sessions & Tasks.

• SQL basics, SQL CRUD queries, SQL subqueries and joins, ETL fundamentals, ER diagrams, data modeling, fact tables, normalization, and data warehousing fundamentals.

Must Have :-

1. Strong Hands on experience in postgreq SQL – Able to design & develop data models in Postgresql.

2. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL syntax – DDL , DML’s & experience in creating Postgresql Procedures and ability to design & optimize data models.

3. Knowledge of Python & basic Unix Scripting.

4. Strong communication skills and analytical ability as this position requires working directly with high level management.

Good to Have :-

1. Python API development & experience in connecting to postgre SQL using Python API’s

2. Unix shell scripting
