Job summary

The New York Genome Center (NYGC) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Sanjana Lab. You will join a dynamic team of scientists, bioengineers, human geneticists and computational biologists mentored by Dr.

Neville Sanjana on projects spanning functional genomics and genome editing. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research including Cas13-based profiling, in vivo CRISPR screens and perturbations of enhancers.

Qualifications

• PhD or MD-PhD in a relevant field and first-author publications.
• Experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, computational biology or functional genomics.
• Ability to work independently and present findings regularly.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

• Plan and execute research tasks under mentorship.
• Develop new projects in a collaborative environment.
