Job summary

CCRM Fertility Research invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Scientist position in reproductive biology with a strong focus on embryology, gamete competence, and reproductive aging. The successful candidate will investigate the molecular mechanisms influencing gamete competence, embryonic development, and overall reproductive success in our aging society.

This work will aim to generate translational insights that can support the development of improved strategies to enhance outcomes

Qualifications

PhD in a relevant life science field.
Experience with animal models and embryo handling.
Experience with micromanipulation techniques (ICSI, biopsies).
Strong written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

Design and conduct independent and collaborative research studies using relevant animal models and human-derived materials as appropriate.
Investigate early embryo development, molecular and cellular pathways, mitochondrial function, and mechanisms associated with reproductive aging.
Perform and optimize advanced laboratory techniques, including embryo micromanipulation and molecular biology assays.
Analyze, interpret, and communicate research findings through presentations, manuscripts, reports, and collaborative discussions.
Contribute to a collegial, multidisciplinary laboratory environment and support the broader research mission of CCRM Fertility.
